Purchase coffee beans.
The first step in making your own fresh coffee grounds involves actually purchasing the coffee beans. When you go to the grocery store to do so you will notice that there are a ton of beans to choose from. This is because there are what seems like a hundred different flavors that you can possibly make.
Which coffee beans you choose will depend on the type of coffee you like to drink. If you like plain coffee with no added flavoring, then the basic coffee beans will do. You’ll also want to determine if you want decaf or caffeinated beans. There are many who simply cannot drink caffeinated coffee. For those individuals the choice is obvious.
If you enjoy flavored coffee, then you’ll have to pick the flavor that best suits your particular taste. There are a number of possibilities including Irish creme, French vanilla, hazelnut, amaretto, caramel, and many others. You can even mix and match flavors in order to make your own flavor combination. You’d be amazed at some of the great tastes that you can achieve by mixing different flavored beans. There are manual grinders which require you to do the grinding, and there are automatic grinders which can do the grinding for you with the touch of a button. If you don’t want to endure the tiresome task of manually grinding the beans yourself, then the automatic grinder is definitely the way to go.
Grinding coffee beans provides you with fresh coffee grounds that you can use to make the drink that you enjoy so much. The best time to use the grounds is immediately after they have been prepared because this is the time when the level of freshness is at it’s peak.
